Welcome to Pokie-free Pubs, the only website dedicated to the pubs and hotels of Victoria that have resisted the temptation to load up on poker machines.

There are around 250 gaming venues across Victoria, and sadly many of them were once pubs that stood on their own two feet. Luckily for those of us who would prefer not to spend an evening blocking out the incessant inane melodies or flashing lights of the pokies, there are still quite a lot of authentic pubs left in the state. More than 800, in fact.

Pokie-free Pubs is a listing of all the pubs and hotels in Victoria that all have one thing in common: they do not have poker machines. Bringing all of this information together is a pretty big task, and we're constantly updating the site to keep it current and make sure we don't miss anyone.

But more than that, Pokie-free Pubs is interactive. You can search by suburb, or alphabetically; or you can simple browse the entire list.

So wander in and take a look around; hopefully you'll find an establishment that fits the bill. Remember: pubs without pokies are the only pubs where YOU, not the pokies, are the #1 priority!
